Children of the Nations (COTN) is continuing to send teams of medical professionals to work in response to the Haiti earthquake.  Our teams are currently based in the Dominican Republic. serving the children and families we were able to transport from Haiti.  For a more detailed look at our plan, please visit http://www.cotni.org/pages/360-our-plan.

THIS SUNDAY (March 7) is our next collection day to bring food for our Kearny families! If you’d like to be involved in this process but did not sign up for a specific item, please feel free to bring NONPERISHABLE food items to whichever service you normally attend. The food bins will be at the Welcome Tent — just place it in whichever one looks least full!

We have a team of college students planning to intern in Uganda, Africa this summer. In order for the team to go we need at least 1 adult male and 1 adult female to lead this team. You would be ministering to orphans in northern Uganda through Children of the Nations, while shepherding these students through the internship experience. You would need to be available from mid-June to mid-August.

San Diego CityFest, a coalition of churches in San Diego, needs a few volunteers to help with some office work in preparation for a Pastors and Leaders enrichment conference.

Purpose: Lead our team of college interns to Uganda this summer. You will experience incredible ministry with Children of the Nations while shepherding a group of college students from Flood. You must be out of college to apply for this position.

Purpose: Serve the COTN national staff with any needs that they have; serve the local schools in Lira by encouraging and spending time with the students.

Sorry for the long subject line!  My name is Kuangkai Tai, and I represent Chinese Bible Church of San Diego up in Rancho Bernardo.  Last year, we held our 1st Annual Ultimate Frisbee Tournament to benefit Hope Harvest International on 3/14/09 at Doyle Community Park.

Hope Harvest International was started by one of our sisters to promote orphan care in Southern China.  More information here at  www.hope-harvest.org.
