Flood Kids offers fun and safe environments for children age 0 through 5th grade to encounter God during the 9 and 11 am worship gatherings.
What can I expect…
If it is my first time?
You will be greeted by our Visitors team members who will tell you everything you need to know about our ministry. A team member will walk you and your child(ren) to their class, answer any questions you may have and do their best to make you and your child(ren) feel comfortable and welcomed on your first visit.
From a Flood Kids Team Member?
All of our Team Members have been background checked, interviewed and referenced in order to ensure a safe and fun environment for all of our kids. They are a wonderful group of people who have been trained to love your child like Jesus does!
In each environment?
Nursery (for newborn children & those who are crawling): Leaving your baby for the first time can be overwhelming! In this environment, it is our desire that your child experiences God's love by being held, nurtured and fed as needed. To help create a great experience, please bring any items that will help us love your child even better. Your baby will be loved, fed, diaper changed and have a fun play time while you are attending a gathering.
One's (children who are 1-year-old & walking): In this environment, it is our desire that your child starts hearing that God made them and loves them through outside-play-time, a snack, music and biblical principles. We understand this is oftentimes when children experience separation anxiety, so please let us know how we can help soothe your child.
Two's (children who are 2-years-old): In this environment, it is our desire that your child begins to understand that God made them, God loves them and Jesus will be their friend forever through outside-play-time, a snack, music and learning about Jesus through Bible stories. During this life stage, many children begin toilet learning, so please do not hesitate to let us know how we can assist in this new adventure.
Preschool (children who are 3 to 5-years-old): By the time your child graduates from this environment, our desire is for them to know that God made them, God loves them and Jesus wants to be their friend forever through hands-on activities, worship time, Bible teachings, crafts, snack time, and outside-play-time. We desire for children in this age group to begin to understand God's deep love for them.
Elementary (children who are enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th grade): In this environment, our desire is that your child will understand what it means to live like Jesus by intentionally diving into the Bible through age-appropriate lessons, group games, worship and creative crafts that reinforce the lesson of the day. During small group time, the environments are organized in a K-1st grade class, 2nd & 3rd grade class, and 4th & 5th grade class. Our Current Scriptural Focus: Fruits of the Spirit.
